It is starting to get very close to Carlton Horse Trials

After a fantastic weekend clearing up in the show jumping classes and out speeding all the rest.
This last week has been good to get organised and after Bobby having had a couple of rest days after his hard work.
Last week I did some lunging with him to really get him working, whilst lunging you can see how the horse is working which is hard when on board, I noticed in his trot and canter he was being quite lazy with his behind so I increased his work to get him pushing through and will think of using the roller next time, I learnt this from Paul Tapner.
I have a dressage test scheduled and am busy preparing for that and that in its self should be good preparation for Carlton this coming weekend. I am also going to do a BSJA.
It is starting to very close to Carlton Horse Trials so getting ready will have to start soon to make sure I am fully prepped for what shall be my first British Event and most exciting event of my life yet. I have also booked into West Wilts BE after and shall keep at them for the rest of the season.
