A great week leading up to hopefully a great event!
I have used the last week to completely prepare myself for my first British Event. I went cross-country this week to ensure I was fully prepared in this department and it went fantastically well leaving me feeling positive and fully ready for the cross country phase. I am also having a lesson with my instructor on Thursday to cover Jumping and Dressage.
I have memorised the dressage test and keep running through it in my head to make sure it stays fresh. I also have started packing the lorry for the departure on Thursday morning to get there in time for the course walk.
I am very excited about this event as it is my first BE ever and I hope, if all goes to plan, it will be a great day. We are staying nearby the night before as we live a while away so it will give us less hassle in the morning and save Bobby’s energy for the competition instead of travelling!
I look forward to seeing everyone involved in this fantastic Development Squad and also everyone who will be running the event. As previously discussed it really does sound like a unique event to Brtish Eventing and look forward to being part of it.
Thank you to Sara and Julia for all the support in getting here it has been great help and much appreciated, I hope I will be able to prove how worthwhile it’s been.
Henry
