Last week has been great having had a good day out on Saturday at BSJA area 42 show, it was a scorching day at 28 degrees so I took it very easy being careful not to over do Bobby.

I am preparing for Carlton and part of this is to plan in all the events in the run up, dressage tests, BSJA’s and Hunter Trials. I have planned in for this weekend to do an unaffiliated ODE at West Wilts Equestrian Centre which shall be good preparation as it is a BE venue.

At present I am thinking of doing West Wilts BE (2) after Carlton so the unaffiliated Horse Trials will be perfect. I also intend to Cross country school at Carlton some point before the event as well to get ready for Carlton.

With all exams finished I can fully concentrate on lessons and schooling to fully prepare for the busy summer ahead.

Lets just hope the weather stays as consistent for Carlton BE at the end of this month!
