Bobby is vastly improving

This week has been a relatively quiet week having moved the horses onto fresh grass; we now have to watch for laminitis, it goes from one extreme to another.

Bobby is vastly improving with his flat work and I am booking in some more lessons in the next couple of weeks.

I will be attending some clinics with Caron Roberts for the Riding club horse trials team which has now been formed. But shall also try and be at the Carlton Cross Country Competition on the Sunday 30th this month with the new colours.

As G.C.S.E exams are starting everything is a bit chaotic but with a supportive family I can rely on my sister and brother to help keep Bobby ticking whilst I keep my head down on very boring but very important exams.

He is gradually getting fitter and fitter and with my tough exercise routine he will be in great shape by the time the Horse Trials come around. He is currently at a Novice BE level of fitness galloping every week but I shall look to increase this nearer the competition time, as I want maximum performance with no tiring as that can lead to big problems out on the cross country phase. I also had a 3rd at Hartpury B.S.J.A I forgot to mention last week which was great in their huge indoor arena.
